To our Membership:
WCHRA has been closely monitoring the COVID-19 virus, the recommendations from the CDC, CDPHE, and Mesa County Public Health. In light of the most recent recommendations regarding groups of ten or more, WCHRA will be postponing the below events.
WCHRA will postpone our March Monthly Program scheduled for March 25, 2020. We will look at options surrounding a virtual delivery of our programming or rescheduling the programming for a later date. We ask for your patience as we navigate these rapidly changing waters and unprecedented challenges.
We will continue to monitor information as it becomes available and make a decision as to the Employment Law Conference currently scheduled for April 29, 2020 when the time comes. We hope we see drastic improvements and the impact of COVID-19 slows in the coming weeks. We are aware the likelihood of this happening in a timely manner, allowing us to continue our programming is low. However, we wish to balance the health needs of our community with the need to understand the changing laws affecting our Colorado employers. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we commit to this balance and doing what is right for our community. Therefore, as soon as we are able to, we will make a definite decision for the April 29th Conference.
At this time, we are not ready to make a decision on any other programming events.
If you are a participant of the Skills Development Course scheduled for March 27, 2020. Please be on the lookout for information from the course committee.
You are important to us and value the health of you and your families. We encourage you to take necessary precautions as recommended by the CDC.
We are all in this together and together we as Human Resource professionals will continue to help our organizations navigate this challenge and thrive once this challenge has passed.
I want you to know that the WCHRA Board of Directors do not make these decisions lightly. We will communicate to you updates as they become available.
Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.
Wishing you all good health!
