June's Monthly Member Program (MMP) will be a

meeting at the Bookcliff Country Club



Jennifer Schroeder will be exploring how HR Professional can think outside the box when developing recruitment and retention strategies. She will show us how teaming up with a realtor and mortgage lender can help a company recruit and retain the best employees, by using a variety of online resources to pinpoint where in the country potential candidates live.  Locations that people are moving to and from will be examined along with why these movements are occurring.  Also, local real estate trends and how they affect recruitment will be discussed.

Bio:

Jennifer Schroeder has a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resources from Wright State University in Dayton, OH.  She has worked in a variety of different industries including employment staffing, manufacturing and government contracting.  The last 10 years she worked as a Business Manager for Alpine Tree Service, LLC a local family owned tree trimming and removal company.  She recently transitioned into real estate and is an Associate Broker with Coldwell Banker Distinctive Properties dealing in residential sales.  Jennifer’s father was career Air Force and she has lived in Mississippi, Alabama, Alaska, Ohio and Maryland.  Jennifer currently lives in Grand Junction with her husband Mike who is an orthopaedic physician assistant at the VA and their two children.
