As human resource professionals, business owners, and managers, we are driven to help our organizations and our employees succeed. With the ever-changing environment of employment law, it can be a struggle to find time to comb through legal websites and journals to determine what to focus on to ensure compliance and learn about best business practices.
The Western Colorado Human Resource Association partners with the attorneys of Bechtel Santo & Severn to provide the most comprehensive employment law review offered in Western Colorado. This full-day Conference focuses on significant developments in employment law and regulations that Colorado employers need to know, including:
· Legislative, Case Law, and Regulatory Update
· Practical strategies to Implement Legislative changes
· Employee Handbooks*
· Top 10 Mistakes Employers Make and How to Fix Them*
* In response to your feedback at the 2019 Conference, each breakout session will focus on the unique needs of either Large or Small Employers

For John Register, a 4 time all-American and U.S. Army Gulf War Veteran his mis-step over a hurdle resulted in the amputation of his left leg. Yet 27 months post surgery Register swam in the Paralympic Games in Atlanta, GA. Four years later he made history by winning the Paralympic long jump silver medal in Sydney, Australia.” Join us as John shares his story of hurtling adversity and challenges us to overcome the limits we place on ourselves.
